Descartes MobileLink Delivery is a valuable addition to Descartes' renowned routing and scheduling systems, allowing seamless integration into field operations. This solution ensures efficient and secure delivery processes by providing accurate Proof of Delivery and extending the chain of custody. 
Drivers kickstart their day by carefully reconciling items at their depot, ensuring they have all the necessary resources. When they arrive at their designated stops, drivers can easily scan items on and off their vehicle, guaranteeing that customers receive exactly what they expected, without any unwanted surprises. In the event of damaged or refused items, drivers can accurately document reasons and even capture photographic evidence.
Once the delivery is complete, customers have the opportunity to verify all the items received before signing off, confirming the driver's actions and ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, MobileLink Delivery can be easily tailored within the application to accommodate your organization's specific data collection needs, such as load quality assessments, surveys, or even supply reordering.
While MobileLink keeps drivers on track throughout their day, it also enables real-time communication with Descartes' servers. This grants operational and customer service personnel immediate visibility into the driver's status and the progress of their deliveries, facilitating efficient management and enhanced customer support.
